VendorCentral Carton Labels

SSCC Carton Labels BPS Carton Labels CSV File Upload

VendorCentral merchants are required to provide an identification label on every carton shipped to Amazon. Failure to provide carton labels, results in “No Carton Content Label” charge back of $5 per carton and as high as $15 per carton for vendors that have a compliance rate of 10% or less.

We offer simple a way to generate the SSCC and BPS carton labels. Upload a CSV file with your shipment information will allow you to print the required carton labels. If you use EDI for data exchange, SSCC labels are highly recommended. If you do not use EDI, the BPS labels can be used by both Both EDI and non-EDI vendors.

This functionality is only available with the enterprise plan.

Note: Currently we only support 1 PO, 1 SKU per box shipments (Case packed). We do not support VendorCentral GTIN labels for perishable goods.

1. Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) Carton Identification Labels

SSCC Vendor Central Carton LabelVendors using EDI856, must provide ASN with carton level information: PO, UPC/ASIN, quantity of the items in the carton and expiration date, if applicable. To match the physical cartons to the information sent via EDI, each carton must have a License Plate (LP) label with carton information.

We make it very easy to generate the required License Plate style label, generated to Amazon specifications for printing on a 4x6 label printer.

Upload a CSV file with shipment information and we will generate the 4x6 formated labels for you to print. The CSV file template is available here.

2. BPS Carton Identification Labels

BPS Vendor Central Carton LabelNon-EDI enabled vendors can communicate the carton content information using a 2D barcode label. Similar to EDI, vendors must provide a label with PO, UPC/ASIN, quantity of the items in the carton and expiration date, if applicable encoded in a 2D barcode.

Note: BPS labels are only supported in the United States. Amazon UK warehouses do not support BPS labels and will not provide the option for using BPS labels in VendorCentral.
